Comfort or Calling

Our longing for comfort can make us passive and easily swayed. True faith requires prayer paired with purposeful action, as lasting change comes through the resolve of those who act boldly. May we choose the future of those we love over the ease of complacency, even when others cling to the very systems that keep them bound.

And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.
